Writer's Corner

We now have the poems and short stories which the young people from St. David's and Cochrane Castle Primary Schools recently wrote to raise money for the Tsunami Appeal...

A special thank you to Joe Houston who worked so tirelessly to raise funds for this and also a special thank you to the staff of the two schools for their support.
Click here to read all the brilliant poems and stories...

In this section, there will be a selection of poems and short stories written by the local people. If you want to contribute to this section, then email lynn@westjohnstone.org.uk.

A self help group is being set up which will meet in the Learning Centre. The group will meet to support each other and to help with spelling, grammar and formatting their work. If you would be interested, then please get in touch by email or by telephone the Learning Centre on 01505 335873 and asking for Lynn.

We also have a selection of people's favourite poems by the more famous writers...click here...
